Good Manners Foundational Key to Success

“The S.O.E. Academy is designed to prepare young people to lead with confidence. Every parent knows that good manners is a foundational key to success in life. Excellence is never passé and does not go unnoticed. Therefore, the Gold Medallion partners with parents and community organizations to build strong Christian character with an emphasis on self respect, strong moral values and academic success. As an educator, I want to do my part to highlight and restore what I believe is foundational to healthy individuals and to a vibrant healthy society.”

The S.O.E. Academy (formerly The School of Esther) is one of the premier programs of the Gold Medallion Foundation and is designed to prepare “tweens” and teens to excel and succeed in social, spiritual and academic endeavors.

S.O.E. I (ages 13-14) and SOE II (age 14-17) will impact the lives of teens in areas of confident behavior at home and in public places. S.O.E. II is designed to not only build confident behaviors, but to enable each student to begin to identify aptitudes as well as tap into potential career choices. Level I and Level II social introductions, building healthy male/female relationships, social dance and dining etiquette prepare students for social interactions. Public speaking, career exploration and conflict management workshops contribute to building refined youth who are prepared to compete academically and socially.

Classes are taught by highly trained educators and mentors from various professional backgrounds. Emphasis is placed on relational skills that foster respectful behavior producing confident and productive citizens and individuals who make valuable contributions to society.

GMF Summer Enrichment Academy

The GMF Summer Enrichment Academy (SEA) provided summer enrichment at its best. Students participated in six weeks of academic, social and cultural enrichment. The program was last held Summer 2008.

Computer Scooters are inquisitive techies—future professionals on the rise. Each Wednesday afternoon and on Thursdays students will use expert design skills to create exciting projects.
